The Amateur Radio Community Hospital Emergency Services (ARCHES) is an amateur radio service that provides a digital radio communications mode known as packet to hospitals. Packet was intended as a way to reliably transmit written information, but with wireless communication standard offering data transfer rates between 56 and 114 kilobits per second, packet became suitable not only for applications that require small bursts of data, but also for high-volume data applications like video conferencing and multimedia messaging.

Support communications for a medical facility providing emergency communications that are critical to patient health and facility welfare.

Develop the Williamson County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (WC-ARES)  ARCHES program into a fully integrated medical communications team at medical facilities to provide timely and accurate information to the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) of the Municipality, County or State being served.
