Second Saturday Training
This coming Saturday, July 13th, will be our next Second Saturday Training. Instead of just one subject, we’ll be covering two different topics this month… the Yaesu 891 and GRLevel3. The classes will be held at the Williamson County EOC.
9:30 AM to 11:30 AM there will be a class on the Yaesu 891 HT radio that is used in the gokits. After the overview there will be a gokit connected to an HT antenna that you can practice on. Terry Jones will be the instructor.
11:30 AM to 1:00 PM will be a lunch break.
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM will be a class on the GRLevel3 software. This will cover some basic setup and operations, and there will be historical data that shows different adverse weather patterns to look for. Jim Kinter will be the instructor.
Everyone is encouraged to attend both classes if possible.
